īSS devices contain a range of digital audio transport protocols. You can for example link a logic end to a mute (a very easy way of creating a fire alarm mute). Many logic objects have default control panels and parameters which can be controlled, t hese parameters allow you to interact with the logic system and also allow the logic system to link with the audio system. Each logic object is quite basic, but when added together they can perform very complex operations, for example a priority paging system or a mic recall that changes a venues speaker delays depending on mic location. Many of the Logic objects have properties which allow you to add and/or remove input or output ports. Logic Objects are placed and ‘ wired ’ together in the same way as in the audio configuration.
